Meet Our Staff

Lead Pastor:  Michael Fen

My Job at Grace: spiritual leadership, organizational oversight, biblical preaching and teaching, pastoral care, outreach, support and supervise staff, and a lot of other stuff.

My Life and Faith Story: grew up in a non-religious home in Lincoln, Nebraska (Go Cornhuskers!). I used to brag to my friends that I didn’t believe in God. But He brought a few people into my life who really knew Jesus and lived like it right before my eyes. The week before I graduated from high school, and while running in a 10k race (I hate running by the way), faith kind of caught me by surprise. That was the start of a whole new life for me with Jesus Christ at the center.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and Dallas Theological Seminary. My career includes a stint as a youth pastor, missionary wannabe, various church pastoral roles, a few years in business management, and even a brief stint in law enforcement (but no badge and no gun). I came to Grace in July of 2025. My wife Leah and I have four children and a very old and precious dog.

Bits and Pieces: love to play competitive pickup basketball, watch movies with monsters, binge on gummy candy, and kill house plants slowly.

What I like about Grace: Feels like family. We’re really serious about the Word of God and following Jesus, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Office Manager:  Cheryl Hernandez

My Job at Grace: office administration, bookkeeping, women’s ministry, care of facility, and other miscellaneous areas.

My Life and Faith Story: I grew up in a Christian home in Sheridan Lake, Colorado.  At the age of 10 years old I made a profession of faith during a revival meeting and was baptized the following Sunday. Spending time with the Lord daily, being in his word and in communication with Him keeps me grounded.

I graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a one-year business degree.  My heart’s desire was to be a church secretary and get married and raise a family.  God took me down a variety of different learning paths until he led me here to Grace.

Bits and Pieces: I enjoy spending time with friends, family, hanging out with my grandkids and having Sunday family lunches.  As well as facilitating a life group and ministering to women.

What I like about Grace: Grace is a small down-to-earth community that loves God, loves people and desires to grow in their relationship with Christ.  It is a joy to serve the people and community of Grace.

Worship and Connections Pastor:
Johnny McCloskey

My Job at Grace: As the Worship and Connections Pastor, I’m responsible for helping people connect upward with God, inward with community, and outward in service and mission.

My Life and Faith Story: I was born and raised in California and made the move to Colorado in 2006. I grew up in a religious home and began attending church at a young age. Church life has always been a central part of my journey, and I’ve been actively involved in ministry and leadership roles for most of my life.

I am blessed to be the husband of one amazing wife, the father of three wonderful daughters, and the proud papa of three beautiful granddaughters. What can I say, I’m a Girl Dad!

I studied at The Master’s College in California before graduating from Colorado Christian University.

Bits and Pieces: I’m a big sports fan! While I still cheer for my Los Angeles teams, I’ve also embraced Colorado sports — though I’m still waiting for the Rockies to pull it together. I also enjoy collecting comics, art, and just about anything with a great story behind it.

What I Like About Grace: Grace Fellowship is a genuine community of believers who truly care for one another and are committed to growing in godliness. It’s a blessing to be part of a church that lives out its faith so authentically.

Children’s Ministry Director:
Narci Erskine

My Job at Grace:  As Children’s Ministry Director, I lead a team of teachers and leaders who care for and teach our kids through nursery, Sunday classes, special events, and VBS. My joy is helping make disciples of Jesus from the youngest ones among us.

My Life and Faith Story: I was born and raised in Wyoming and moved to Colorado when I married my husband in 2002. At six years old, I accepted Christ during a summer camp with my AWANA group. Growing up in a Christian home, church was always central to family life, and I’ve been serving in ministry and leadership roles for many years.

I am blessed to be married to my wonderful husband, and together we have five children — three daughters and two sons.

My studies began in Early Childhood Development at Eastern Wyoming College before I transitioned to Elementary Education at the University of Colorado–Denver.

Bits and Pieces: Much of my free time is spent driving kids to their many activities and cheering them on. I also love traveling, going to the movies with my husband, and spending a snowy day sewing or making puzzles while rewatching The Lord of the Rings or action-packed weather movies. (HA!)

What I Like About Grace: Grace Fellowship is a small, supportive community where the Word of God is taught unapologetically. I’m grateful to be part of a church family committed to representing Jesus well.

Youth Director:
Josh Edwards

My Job at Grace: As the Youth Director I handle weekly meetings for our Youth Group as well as various events to help build a community that can bless them and others and help them grow in their walk with Jesus.

My Life and Faith Story: I grew up in a Christian household, I was blessed to have parents who both truly loved the Lord and set an amazing example of what it looks like to be a true follower of Christ. When I went off to college, I had the opportunity to make my faith my own. I was blessed to join an amazing campus ministry that I credit to helping me mature in my faith and make it the core of my identity.

Bits and Pieces: I am a big sports fan, both watching my favorite teams play and playing recreationally when I can! Disc Golf has become one of my favorite outlets and I enjoy playing courses across the state.

What I like about Grace: The people are very welcoming and genuine in their interactions. We put the Word of God as our primary focus!
