Welcome Back to Grace Kids Sunday

As our congregation moves back into a structure of two services (8:30 and 10:05) beginning August 23, 2020, there are necessary precautions and guidelines we encourage you to read through and partake in so that we can make Grace Fellowship a safe gathering place amidst this uncertain time. We thank you for your patience, understanding, and efforts to make Grace a welcoming environment!

Sick/COVID-19 Policy

  • We ask that you please self-monitor your children. Please err on the side of caution, and be especially thoughtful when deciding to bring your child to church. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT, PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILD AT HOME. We will not be monitoring illness. IF YOUR CHILD HAS HAD ANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS IN THE LAST 24 HOURS, WE ASK THAT YOU KEEP YOUR CHILD AT HOME.
  • Symptoms include:
      • Fever of 100.4 or higher
      • Cold/Flu symptoms such as runny nose, coughing, constant sneezing, etc.
      • Vomit
      • Diarrhea
      • Sore throat

Precautions

  • ALL PERSONS 11 YEARS AND OLDER MUST WEAR A MASK INSIDE. The state mandate does allow for masks to be removed when outside. All church staff and volunteers will be wearing masks.
  • We will do our best to encourage social distancing of arms length distance between children. We plan to use hula hoops for the children to sit inside to encourage distance.
  • Children will wash hands regularly with soap and water/hand sanitizer. Please have them use the hand sanitizing station before they enter the children’s wing, and please use sanitizer as you leave the children’s wing. Children will also wash during the service before and after snack time, as well as any time they go outside.
  • Please check-in with the Child Check-In Greeter upon arrival. The greeter will enter your family information into the computer, and you will tear off your child’s name tag, and place it on your child.
      • PLEASE MAKE SURE WE HAVE THE CORRECT CELL PHONE NUMBER PRINTED ON THE NAME TAG, AND KEEP YOUR PHONE ON “SILENT” DURING THE SERVICE. THIS IS THE BEST WAY FOR US TO CONTACT YOU DURING THE SERVICE IF NECESSARY.
If you have any further questions, please contact our Children’s Ministry Director, Narci Erskine at nerskine@gfol.org.

Thank you!
