Important Rules for 2011-2012
- Children should be dropped off at Awana before no earlier than 6:15PM as there is no security or supervision of children available prior to 6:15PM.

For security reasons, parents MUST pick up children from the Sanctuary at the end of Awana (or downstairs Room 12 for Cubbies). Children will NOT be allowed to leave the building without being accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Security Team personnel will be posted at the door to ensure this is enforced.

For child safety reasons, there will be absolutely NO HORSEPLAY in the Sanctuary before or after Awana. Children can talk quietly amongst themselves, but there is to be no running or horseplay of any kind in the Sanctuary or other areas of the church. All clubs have adequate game time each night which enables the children to have supervised activities (including running around) in the Sanctuary.
- All pertinent information regarding Awana has been placed on the GFOL website (www.gfol.org). You can click on the AWANA tab under Children's Ministries on the GFOL homepage and access Awana events and nightly schedules, fees associated with the ministry, information of whether Awana is cancelled due to inclement weather, and child registration forms. Check the website often as it will be updated frequently if information changes.
