Crossroads of the Rockies (www.crossroadsoftherockies.org) — if you have a heart for the urban poor, consider volunteering at Crossroads. Their mission is to elevate the poor and save the lost. With programs for adults and families, youth and children, there is something for everyone. Opportunities to serve range from a single day at an annual outreach event to helping in specific programs once a week. From teaching, to coaching, helping, cooking, cleaning, mentoring, tutoring, supervising; there is a place here for you to serve. Mean Street (www.meanstreetministry.org) — is committed to caring about and assisting the homeless and the poor. They seek to serve the working poor along Colfax Avenue. Monday nights they serve East Colfax and Tuesday nights, West Colfax. There are lots of ways to serve and to help, out on the streets or in the office. Please click here for more information.
Caring Hands Pregnancy Center (www.caringhandspregnancy.org) — Their vision is to provide education and support to women and their families facing pregnancy. This volunteer center has contact with over 100 pregnant women each year and provides a wide array of classes and resources to assist these families during and after a pregnancy.
